Dolphin

Welcome to the Dolphin at home learning page. We have collected some resources together for you to explore with your child at home in the event of a school closure. These resources as designed for you to enjoy  with your child and to support their natural curiosity for their learning. These are for you to access as and when you are able to as a family. We have sent work books, pens and pencils home for children to be able to record any of their learning if they want to.

Your child's personalised eschool log in provides their weekly class learning that mirrors the class curriculum, this is to be used in the event of your child isolating due to Covid-19.

Below are the picture links to the apps and websites we subscribe to that your child can access at home. Your children should have their log-ins for these apps in their yellow reading records.

Please click on the RWI picture below to take you to the Ruth Miskin Youtube channel. There will be live phonics lessons for all 3 sets.

There are new sounds each day. Your child will need a pencil and paper or a whiteboard and pen.
Enjoy!

Topic - SP 2
Memory Box
Can you remember being small? Being a baby and learning to crawl? Do you recall a favourite toy, maybe a teddy bear or a favourite book? Look back at family photos of special occasions, perhaps holiday snapshots or a birthday or two. Remember a wedding or a christening and find a funny photo of your parents when they were young. Learn how to write a diary of days gone by and find out about the days before you were born: it’s called history and it’s all about the past. Then make a special box, a memory box, to keep special things safe. In years to come, you can revisit them and remember how you looked when you were young. Memories are special. Let’s make some more.

Please see below for Topic based learning. Help your children by learning the information and facts on the knowledge organiser in fun and creative ways. There are some ideas in the home learning  document below too.
We have also uploaded a book list linked to your child's topic based learning.

Enjoy discovering new facts with your child and let them explore their learning at their own pace.
